Community Fundraising Officer

Salary: £22-27k starting salary, depending on experience
Hybrid or Office Based, ideally with at least two days per week at our Office based near Chancery Lane, London
Contract length: Permanent
30 days annual leave including bank holidays

At the Fashion & Textile Children’s Trust, we provide financial grants to support the wellbeing of children whose parents work in the UK Fashion & Textile Industry. Our grants provide funding for essential items including School Uniform, Bedroom Furniture, study essentials and therapy support.
Together, we can provide a lifeline for the children of people in this amazing industry and ensure that every child has the chance to thrive.
We are recruiting a Fundraising Officer to help deliver our fundraising targets and ensure our financial sustainability.
This role is ideal for someone who is keen to develop their career in fundraising. You will be supporting our growth in corporate donors, whilst also growing our bi-annual campaigns and income from events. You'll also have the opportunity to help shape the future direction of this role.
Manage all donor and prospect records and reporting using Salesforce
With Marketing and Communications Manager, plan and execute our two annual fundraising campaigns, with focus on engaging our existing and new corporate fundraisers.
In collaboration with wider team, organise fundraising activities at the Drapers Awards (x3 per year), including the recruitment of a small group of volunteers, and the management of prizes.
With Marketing and Communications Manager, develop our portfolio of event opportunities, including corporate fundraising and challenge events
Administrate all core fundraising functions:
Work with the marketing manager to develop and maintain fundraising tools across all channels, including digital payment platforms to increase both income and brand awareness
Ensure all activities align with 2021-2026 Fundraising Strategy and work with wider team to coordinate annual review.
Occasionally, collaborating with the wider team on special projects not directly related to fundraising as needed

Basic understanding and experience of corporate fundraising focus areas i.e. commercial, sponsorship, and COTY

This role will report into Anna, our CEO and collectively we are a team of 6, including the Fundraising Officer. Other team members include Jill our Marketing and Communications Manager, Rudy our Finance Manager, Hazel our Grants Manager, and Janet our Grants Support Assistant.
