The HR Business Partner role

Reporting to the Industrial Operations Director and Senior HR Business Partner, this role is site-based at Bridgewater, Somerset and part of Project Management Team​.

 

The purpose of the role is to secure approval to a progressive People Plan, aligned to the project's strategic and operational objectives, that ensures that we create a high-performance culture with the right people with the right skills in place at the right time.​ You'll act as the key project interface with all other SRM/People services

 

Key Accountabilities

  • Play a key role on the Project Management Team​

  • Lead on team and individual development​
  • Nurture excellent employee relations ​
  • Retain, recruit and select exceptional talent​
  • Provide management reports with insight on HR-related issues

 

 

 

Your Profile

  • HR Graduate or equivalent qualification​
  • Prior Construction experience is ideally required.
  • Full CIPD membership ​
  • Evidence of ongoing professional development including psychometric ​assessment​
  • Proven track record in delivering site-based HR business partnering on ​high-profile construction projects
  • Demonstrable competence across full HR lifecycle​
  • Ability to provide full contribution to Project Management Team​
  • Excellent team facilitation skills​
  • Up to date knowledge of current and emerging employment law​
  • Demonstrable commercial acumen
