HR Business Partner Opportunity

Are you a seasoned HR professional looking for a challenging role that combines strategic and operational HR? We have an exciting opportunity for an HR Business Partner to join our team in the North of England.

About the Role

This is an 18-month fixed-term contract, offering a competitive salary of £75,000 + car allowance and bonus. You will work full-time in a hybrid environment, with 3 days onsite and travel between Durham and Manchester.

As an HR Business Partner, you will support approximately 2000 staff across various hubs in the North. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Providing advice and support to senior leaders and line management across the full employee lifecycle.
  • Combining strategic and operational HR to add value to key stakeholders in the region.
  • Coaching leadership and line management on best practices, improving capability and self-sufficiency.
  • Supporting workforce planning, talent management, and other HR initiatives.
  • Working collaboratively with Centres of Excellence across HR and wider Corporate Services.

As a seasoned HR Business Partner, you will have a strong generalist background and experience in fast-paced commercial environments. You will have held a regional HR Business Partner role and have the flexibility to travel onsite across the Northern Hubs as required.

This is a unique opportunity to combine private sector commercials with the social purpose and impact of the public sector, working with varied stakeholder groups across the country.
