We are looking for Residential Support Workers to join a thriving company in the Southampton area. You will be responsible for being a positive role model to the young people in your care. As a Residential Support Worker, with the team, you will provide a safe and nurturing environment.

You will work closely with a team to create a calm yet secure environment for young people to thrive. This on occasions means supporting Children through challenges.

This role covers a 2 week rolling rota - which boasts the benefit of being able to plan your home life in advance.

Responsible to the Senior Support Worker / Registered Manager
You will be responsible for the daily activities within the home which could include (but not limited to) school runs, offering breakfast, helping with social needs, attending medical appointments.
Creating a loving and warm environment to support vulnerable children to thrive.

Ideally you will have a level 3 qualification, or equivalent. Experience of supporting vulnerable children is advantageous however being personable and able to communicate effectively is just as important.
Being flexible in your approach is key and changing routines at short notice.
