Job Description

As an Architecture Director , you will be part of a team responsible for designing the Enterprise Architecture for Sportradar. You will help design and deliver the API/Platform strategy, partner closely with the business to design the architecture for large programs of work and define the standards and governance that will shape the future of the organization.

THE CHALLENGE:

  1. Being accountable for the architecture of strategic programs of work
  2. Helping design and deliver our API/Platform strategy
  3. Shaping the technology platforms for our internal and customer-facing systems
  4. Driving technical cohesion and standards across our global engineering teams
  5. Providing the technical governance across business
  6. Driving the activities to lead and inspire the Architecture community

YOUR PROFILE:

  1. Strong Architectural experience with a variety of modern technologies and platforms
  2. Extensive experience working on programs that span multiple business units
  3. Track record of coaching and mentoring technical teams
  4. Experience with modern methods such as DevOps, Domain Driven Design, Agile Product Delivery, Cloud (AWS preferred)
  5. As a strong plus, we would consider relevant architectural experience with a range of items from: Machine Learning / AI, Streaming architectures with Kafka and Flink, API Engineering and Enterprise Data Modelling, Microservices and Serverless Architectures, Cybersecurity, Container Orchestration
  6. Outstanding communication and influencing skills
  7. Strategic thinking and ability to keep the long-term goals in sight whilst delivering today's needs
  8. Entrepreneurial mindset with a clear focus on delivery and what pushes the organization forward
  9. Pragmatic approach, ability to balance an idealized solution with real-world constraints
