About the Role:

Are you an Investment Banking professional with a passion for M&A? Do you have a keen interest in the infrastructure, transport, and logistics sectors? US Investment Bank is seeking a highly motivated and skilled Associate to join the infrastructure, transport, and logistic desk. This is an exciting opportunity to work on high-profile transactions and contribute to the growth of clients in these across these sectors.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the execution of M&A transactions from start to finish, including due diligence, financial modeling, valuation, and preparation of transaction documents.
  • Conduct in-depth industry research and analysis to identify trends and opportunities in the infrastructure, transport, and logistics sectors.
  • Assist in the development of pitch books and presentations for client meetings, providing strategic advice and insights.
  • Collaborate with senior bankers to manage client relationships, ensuring exceptional service and timely delivery of projects.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams, including legal, compliance, and operations, to ensure smooth execution of deals.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry regulations, market conditions, and competitive landscapes.

What We’re Looking For:

  • A minimum of 2-5 years of experience in investment banking, with a strong focus on M&A.
  • Demonstrated experience in the infrastructure, transport, or logistics sectors is highly preferred.
  • Excellent financial modeling (LBO/DCF), valuation, and analytical skills.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex information clearly and effectively.
  • A proactive, detail-oriented approach, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • A team player with strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build lasting client relationships.
  • A degree in finance, economics, business, or a related field; an MBA or relevant professional qualification (e.g., CFA) is a plus.
