About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Investment Banking Associate to join our team at JP Morgan Chase Bank, National Association. As an Investment Banking Associate, you will play a key role in supporting our clients' financial needs and contributing to the success of our business.

Key Responsibilities
  • Origination and Execution: Assist in preparing origination and marketing materials to pitch new transaction ideas to clients, and take part in the origination and execution of ECM transactions led by J.P. Morgan.
  • Client Coverage: Work closely with other corporate finance and capital markets teams within the bank to provide comprehensive coverage to a variety of corporate clients across industries and countries within the Nordic region.
  • Market Intelligence: Conduct investor targeting exercises, collect investor feedback, and draft equity market updates to corporate clients on a regular basis.
  • Team Collaboration: Liaise with equity syndicate, research, sales, and trading teams to gather market intelligence and work together with corporate clients and transaction lawyers.
Requirements
  • Relevant Experience: Relevant investment banking experience and excellent academic credentials.
  • Skills and Abilities: Ability to multi-task, organized, rigorous, interest in capital markets and corporate finance, ability to work within a team, in a fast-moving, results-driven environment, and ability to effectively interact with sales people and research analysts, as well as corporate clients and other banks as part of working groups on projects.
  • Language Skills: Proficient in Nordic languages is preferred though not essential.
