One such project company is ULiving@Hertfordshire, a complex of student accommodation and social spaces at the University of Hertfordshire. The ULiving team are now looking for an outgoing Sales and Marketing Manager.

The Role

This role is responsible for the planning, delivery and execution of marketing activities to ensure sales of accommodation, exceeding customer and client focused targets within a regulated environment.

You will be developing and implementing marketing and communication campaigns that engage existing University of Hertfordshire students to remain or return to campus residences. The successful candidate will enjoy using a wide range of typical marketing activities to drive sales, including producing promotional materials both physical and digital, maximising social media engagement and arranging and hosting events.

Reporting directly to the CEO, this a standalone marketing role, and an ideal opportunity for someone who enjoys accountability, autonomy and using their initiative.

About you

You will have experience working in a small or standalone in-house marketing function, either at manager level or as an experienced coordinator/marketing executive, and able to demonstrate a track record of your activities directly contributing to the organisational objectives.

An assertive communicator, you will be confident working with senior stakeholders across the company and with the university client. You will enjoy organising social events and have the confidence to speak and host where required.

You will have a post A level qualification or degree in marketing or similar business discipline.
