Do you thrive in an environment where you can help autistic students with their academic goals? Would you like to work in a role which is flexible and can fit around your schedule? As a study skills tutor you will be supporting students within the Birmingham area who have learning difficulties.

Provide tailored one-to-one support with students you have been assigned to based on their specific learning difficulties
Help with their research skills by assisting them to access ranges of resources
Provide help with writing skills, how to structure their work
Work closely with Randstad and ensure any concerns regarding students are communicated immediately

Six National Autistic Society (NAS) online training modules

Understanding autism
Autism and communication
Autism and sensory experience
Autism, stress and anxiety
Autism: supporting families
Autism and Girls

38 per hour (this includes your holiday pay)
'Refer-a-Friend' scheme where you could have a chance of earning £300 in vouchers
Useful video tutorials on how to use our system
Flexible working role and hours that suit you

Organisational skills - to be able to manage your workload of multiple students to support
Have an understanding on how to use platforms such as Zoom, Microsoft Teams etc
