    Job description: Aspire People are currently seeking dedicated Autism Specialist support staff for a Special Needs school in the Birmingham area to start September 2023.
All children have a full diagnosis and EHCP plans to support their learning. They require Learning Support Assistants to develop and nurture positive relationships, working on a 1-1 or small groups basis.


To be successful in this role you will need an empathetic nature, a resilient personality and be able to use your own initiative; health and safety procedures and the welfare of the children are paramount.


Aspire People is dedicated in helping to improve the education of SEND children across Birmingham, supporting local Special Needs Schools in finding the ideal staff that meet the needs of their school community.

To be considered for the position above you will need to have the following minimum requirements:

  • Ideally a qualification in Support Teaching and Learning (not essential)
  • Experience of supporting pupils with SEND (desirable)
