Reporting to - Station Manager
Main Purpose of the Role
Accountable for the delivery of training of all agents at the station from the initial day one induction through to refresher and day to day coaching and upskilling to aid and enhance the performance of the operation at Bristol Airport.
Operational Performance
Delivery of Aviation Ground Security Operative Course and Ground Security Supervisor Course.
Ensure refresher training is tracked and delivered within required timescales.
Conduct quality audits of training and create action plans where needed.
Maintain compliance of the CAA and DFT frameworks regarding training material and the delivery of this training.
Deliver and promote positive employee engagement, being visible and accessible to the teams.
Oversee national x ray competency testing, computer-based training, and online general security awareness training.
Delivery of any additional security training as required by ICTS.
Ensure all certificates, documentation and training records are supplied and maintained in line with regulations.
Provide briefings, key information and toolbox talks to colleagues, ensuring understanding and commitment.
Ensure readiness for both internal and external audits.
Work within the operation on Central Search and Perimeter, supporting the Duty Manager's with agent performance.
Work closely alongside the Operations Standards Manager to understand root cause analysis and provide rectification plans.
Oversee, deliver and maintain all records associated with OJT.
Carry out covert / overt tests in accordance with company requirements and maintain associated documents.
Support the Regional Training Manager to review agent training requirements upon receipt of TIP data and support further training / coaching.
Monitor agents' performance, provide feedback, celebrate success and provide further training as required.
Support the new starter journey by ensuring our colleagues are looked after and supported in the operation.

Deliver the highest possible professional standards across the operation, putting robust action plan in place and seeing projects through to completion.
Maintain personal CPD as required for ongoing accreditation.
Other duties
Participating in projects and working groups and carrying out any other duties that may be outside the standard remit for the purpose of personal development, or as may be reasonably required by the company.
Complying with all legal and statutory obligations applicable to this role, and ensuring that all activities required by the safety, security, environmental and sustainable development management systems are delivered throughout the areas of responsibility of this role. Person Specification
5 year checkable background.
Excellent communication skills both oral and written.
Track record of ability to work under pressure in a dynamic work environment.
Flexibility according to operational needs across the 24 hour period.
Good administration skills and IT literacy.
AVSEC Trainer qualification and PTTLS (or equivalent) - desirable
