Job Description: My client is seeking a dynamic and results-driven Business Development Manager to join their team. As a key member of my client sales department, you will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, building and maintaining client relationships, and driving revenue growth in the freight forwarding industry.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve company objectives and revenue targets.
  • Identify and prospect potential clients in the freight forwarding industry through cold calling, networking, and other lead generation methods.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients, understanding their needs and providing customized solutions to enhance customer satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Conduct market research to identify trends, competitor activities, and potential areas for expansion.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, including operations, logistics, and customer service, to ensure seamless execution of services and exceed client expectations.
  • Prepare and deliver presentations, proposals, and contract negotiations to secure new business opportunities.
  • Stay updated on industry regulations, market trends, and technological advancements to remain competitive in the market.
  • Attend industry events, conferences, and trade shows to represent the company and expand professional network.
