Are you a Senior Project Manager looking to work on building projects that can change the world, projects that are always more complex and innovative than the last?

If so, we are looking for an experienced Senior Project Manager to join our team in Southampton to work on projects across a variety of sectors. You will be joining a PM team of like-minded experts that have a passion for innovation and delivering cutting edge solutions.

About Us:

AECOM Basingstoke PM and CM teams play a critical role in the conceptualisation and creation of amazing spaces, delivering projects and buildings that define the region skylines and communities. We are part of the UK AECOM Buildings & Places with a headquarters in Aldgate, London.

We are friendly, busy and motivated with an established track record of successfully delivering projects.

About Our Team:

We support our staff in their career growth with a clear path through the organisation that can go in multiple directions
We support each team member through formal training (AECOM University/external providers) and individual mentoring

We support via flexible working meeting our client’s objectives

Role Responsibilities:

Manages one or more very complex project, involving a combination of the following: Clients with a national geographic footprint; or Projects involving a full spectrum of services offered by IE; or, other complexities, such as projects that involve litigation, environmental protection, due diligence, etc.
Manages all phases of projects (from beginning to close out).
Has consenting and regulatory authority for approvals.
Manages other Project Managers.

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements:

Pre and post contract design /project management expertise over the RIBA lifecycle
Excellent communication and organisational skills
JCT &/or NEC Contract Administration (Accreditation a positive)
Maintain accurate project records (both paper and electronic)
Robust Stakeholder Management process

Preferred Qualifications:

Professional Qualification – ideally Project Management/ Construction/Engineering/Quantity Surveying Master’s Degree
Chartered Status with the RICS, CIOB, RIBA, ICE or other equivalent institution
APM affiliation preferred (as secondary accreditation)
Prince 2 or MSP experience is desirable but not essential
