Am working exclusively with a leading international law firm who are looking for a HR Manager to join their London office.


With a global presence this firm holds a small London office who work collaboratively with their global counterparts. Forming part of a wider function, this role will see you managing the HR function end to end working with both Partners, Associate and Business Services populations. Reporting into the CPO this role is a great generalist opportunity covering all aspects of the HR function.


This opportunity will find you working collaboratively with the London office Managing Partner, around people initiatives and the consistent growth and development of talent into the business. You will partner with other senior leaders across both fee earner and business services functions to attract and retain the best talent for the business.


You will act as an HR partner to business services department heads to help managers coach and develop their teams, address ad hoc performance issues, ensure adequate resourcing and implement workforce adjustments if needed. Along with this be a conduit and facilitator to enable HR issues of concern raised by employees and partners to be resolved.


You will lead on all ER matters and implement relevant HR policies and procedures to ensure compliance with employment law, SRA regulations and Firm strategy. You will also lead on performance reviews for all London business services professionals and paralegals, including salary and benefits review recommendations and manage the London office HR budget.


The firm is looking to meet with solid HR generalists who are operating already at HR Manager level, with people management experience, ideally within a law firm environment. You will have strong ER experience, with exceptional and confident verbal and written communication skills and the ability to calmly navigate complex issues and instill confidence in Firm leadership. You will also posses strong analytical skills, with the ability to translate data into meaningful information that will help support the successful operations of the office.
