We are currently looking for a Lead Systems and Integration Engineer for our client, a developer of bespoke electric vehicle drivetrain systems, leveraging cutting-edge, proprietary technology to deliver world-class solutions. The successful candidate will be responsible for the design and integration of our electric vehicle conversions and our EV conversion kits.


The Lead Systems and Integration Engineer will:

  • Take overall responsibility for the engineering function at Electrogenic, ensuring that our bolt-in powertrains remain the best-in-class and that their integration within the vehicles is of the highest standard.
  • Work with our electrical and software engineers, while leading a small team of design engineers.
  • Set standards, ensure our design language is applied throughout all our products, ensuring design for production and value engineering.
  • Ensure that the finished product drives beautifully and is aesthetically pleasing.


The Lead Systems and Integration Engineer will have:

  • A bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or related discipline
  • Automotive experience.
  • SolidWorks proficiency.
  • Proven track record in leading product development projects.
  • Extensive expertise in designing bespoke automotive projects.
  • Ability to create detailed 2D drawings for manufacture.
  • Practical experience in assembly and testing.
  • Exceptional attention to detail.
  • Experience in mentorship.
  • Experience working to tight deadlines in a customer-centric business.
