Lead Systems and Integration Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead Systems and Integration Engineer to join our team at EVera Recruitment. As a key member of our engineering function, you will be responsible for the design and integration of our electric vehicle conversions and EV conversion kits.

The successful candidate will:

  • Oversee the engineering function, ensuring that our bolt-in powertrains remain the best-in-class and their integration within the vehicles is of the highest standard.
  • Collaborate with our electrical and software engineers, while leading a small team of design engineers.
  • Establish standards, ensure our design language is applied throughout all our products, and drive design for production and value engineering.
  • Ensure that the finished product drives beautifully and is aesthetically pleasing.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • A bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or a related discipline.
  • Significant automotive experience.
  • Proficiency in SolidWorks.
  • A proven track record in leading product development projects.
  • Extensive expertise in designing bespoke automotive projects.
  • Ability to create detailed 2D drawings for manufacture.
  • Practical experience in assembly and testing.
  • Exceptional attention to detail.
  • Experience in mentorship.
  • Experience working to tight deadlines in a customer-centric business.
