We are seeking a highly skilled Lead Systems and Integration Engineer to join our team at CV Library. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a developer of bespoke electric vehicle drivetrain systems, leveraging cutting-edge technology to deliver world-class solutions.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Overseeing the engineering function to ensure our bolt-in powertrains remain the best-in-class and their integration within vehicles is of the highest standard.
  • Collaborating with electrical and software engineers, while leading a small team of design engineers.
  • Establishing standards and ensuring our design is applied throughout all our products, with a focus on design for production and value engineering.
  • Carrying out detailed mechanical design work, including 3D modelling, prototyping, and design verification testing, while ensuring compliance with automotive industry standards and legal vehicle conversion regulations.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • A bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or a related discipline.
  • Significant experience in the automotive industry.
  • Advanced proficiency in SolidWorks.
  • A proven track record in leading product development projects.
  • Extensive expertise in designing bespoke automotive projects.
  • Practical experience in assembly and testing.
