Requirements:

  • Building strong relationships with internal teams, external stakeholders, and departmental peers (including the Director of Technology, Product Managers, Sales Operations Team, Senior Salesforce Admin, CMS Developers, etc.)
  • Managing the Salesforce administration team.
  • Managing relationships with external Salesforce suppliers.
  • Advising and leading on Salesforce security best practices, ensuring data compliance in all team activities.
  • Leading the design of the target Salesforce architecture.
  • Conducting initial Salesforce project engagement and scoping requirements.
  • Creating and maintaining supporting documentation, ensuring adherence to processes and standards.
  • Identifying business needs and requirements (including non-functional requirements).
  • Creating and managing data metrics and key performance indicators to inform business decisions, improve processes, and enhance efficiency.
  • Training staff on the Salesforce ecosystem to improve their knowledge, skills, and processes.
  • Leading the implementation of a unified, task-driven workflow for the sales team.
  • Automating sales and marketing processes to enhance internal efficiency.
  • Designing and supporting the integration of Salesforce with other business platforms, including evaluating AppExchange packages or third-party software.
  • Creating custom objects, fields, page layouts, workflow rules, validation rules, reports, dashboards, and process automations in Salesforce.
  • Developing scalable workflows, automations, and processes while maintaining data integrity and increasing user efficiency.
  • Leading the design and creation of Salesforce dashboards and reports for operational and financial KPIs.


Skills & Experience

Essential:

  • Proven experience leading a Salesforce team.
  • Experience mentoring, facilitating technical discussions, and setting direction.
  • In-depth knowledge of operational and application security.
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills with a focus on delivery.
  • Experience in Apex programming.
  • Proficiency with multiple Salesforce technologies: Sales Cloud, Marketing Cloud, and APEX.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret business needs and translate them into technical and operational requirements.
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities with keen attention to detail and a desire to take ownership of and resolve Salesforce-related challenges.
  • Awareness of the latest Salesforce technologies and trends.
  • Extensive experience in the systems delivery lifecycle, including requirements gathering, analysis, design, configuration, integration, testing (all phases), migration, and deployment.
  • Deep understanding of Salesforce data modelling.
  • Proven ability to analyse, design, and optimize business processes through technology and integration, with a track record of guiding customers and colleagues in deploying Salesforce solutions.
  • Experience as a Salesforce administrator/developer in large-scale deployments.


Desirable:

  • Experience working within a Salesforce consultancy.
  • Experience with Salesforce CPQ.
  • Familiarity with integrating Salesforce with financial management platforms.
  • Salesforce certifications in Sales Cloud, CPQ, and Marketing Cloud.
  • Experience working with AMPScript.
  • Proficiency in SQL and SOQL.
  • Knowledge of Marketing Cloud integration options (FTP, API, MC Connect), and extension products and features (Datorama, Audience Builder, etc.).
