Application Support Team Lead

To provide engineering and technical leadership in the delivery of enterprise-wide IT modern workplace services to our clients circa 1,000 staff and for the partners and guests who use the services. The role manages the 3rd line engineers responsible for their modern workplace across visitor services, operational and curatorial departments.


Responsibilities

This technical hands-on role is responsible for managing and maintaining our clients IT modern workplace solutions and technically leads the engineering in device and software management and provisioning, licensing and improvements to the end-user experience.

  • Technical leadership - design and delivery of our client modern workplace services throughout M365 and the surrounding technologies.
  • Team Leadership - team leadership and mentoring of the 3rd line team within our client.
  • Operational Support - be an escalation point for 3rd line activity with the team.
  • Vendor Management - managing the vendor relationships for various software providers into our client.
  • Process and Policy - maintain ITIL and ensure system health checks are run.

  • Detailed understand of how IT services are delivered and consumed by the customer
