PA to Head of Department

Our client is an award winning Law firm based in Manchester, with a top 10 ranking of UK firms. Due to growth and expansion they are currently recruiting for an experienced PA to join their established team.


The successful candidate will be supporting the Partner within the OL/PL department and as such experience within the legal sector is essential for this role, and particularly within the Personal Injury sector.


Duties Include:


  • Preparing documents and corresponding with audio-typing and word processing
  • Administer filing and retrieving files as and when necessary within company guidance
  • Preparation of mail for despatch
  • Appointment setting and diary management for the fee earner
  • Provide support to the other secretaries and admin team as required
  • Attend client meetings both over the phone and in person and ensuring excellent service is provided at all times
  • Ensure the confidentiality of the firms and client documentation at all times


Person Specification:


An ideal candidate will have a high degree of self management and the ability to work on your own initiative. A background within a legal sector and an understanding of the Personal Injury sector would also be essential for success in this role. Experience of the Proclaim case management system would also be a distinct advantage for this role and confidence in your own audio typing skills.
