We are currently recruiting for a Paid Search Executive to join our team in a hybrid working role based at our offices in Grange Moor (just a few miles out of both Wakefield and Huddersfield).


Purpose of the role:

The role will work closely with the Paid Search Manager to drive the paid search channels supporting the full consumer funnel and continue driving growth across all marketing platforms. You will manage and grow performance activities in PPC (Google Search, Google Performance Max, Microsoft Search, Microsoft Shopping). The right candidate will be comfortable communicating ideas and change, creating/ building regular insight reports and presenting at weekly meetings.


Key responsibilities and duties - daily tasks will include but not be limited to:


  1. Ensure paid search strategy and management is aligned to the company objectives including but not limited to market share growth, along with budget sales reserve and PPC spend ratios.  
  2. Managing campaigns and optimising bid strategies across multiple Search and Shopping platforms, including AdWords and Microsoft Ads. Re-marketing and prospecting higher funnel advertising via social media.
  3. Producing and testing ad copy that is clear, engaging and maximises CTR from suitable target audiences.
  4. Suitable frequency of SQRs across multiple campaigns, including management and implementation of negative keywords and ensuring campaign structure is designed to optimise relevancy and performance, including avoiding wasted spend.
  5. The right candidate would be expected to manage the above across multiple domains covering both retail and B2C.
  6. Ensuring campaigns are aligned across multiple channels and platforms avoiding wasted spend and/or crossover.
  7. Identify new target groups through keyword and audience research, developing suitable new campaigns.
  8. Developing existing or new campaigns to suitably target newly launched products.
  9. Developing and maintaining extensive PPC and Ecom reporting to aid the business data driven decision making

  

Essential Requirements:


  1. Minimum 2 years PPC experience at either an agency or in-house role.
  2. The right candidate must demonstrate a keen interest in ecommerce marketing and the knowledge of other online marketing channels and their interactions with each other.
  3. Experience updating ad copy along with deployment of numerous bid and budget changes on a regular basis.
  4. You must strive to achieve the company’s KPI’s.
  5. Proven ‘hands-on’ experience managing multiple paid Search and Shopping campaigns across both AdWords and Microsoft.
  6. Proficient with GA4.


Desirable Requirements:


  1. An understanding of attribution models and how to forecast and report based on them.
  2. Proficient with Microsoft office especially Excel (Google Sheets included).
  3. Intermediate level experience of using Google Analytics.
  4. Commercially focused.
  5. Well organised with high attention to detail.
  6. Be able to prioritise and manage your own workload.
  7. AdWords and GA certification are an advantage.
  8. Experience in managing and overseeing Paid Social campaigns such as META, Pinterest, YouTube & TikTok
