SEO & PPC Specialist


In this predominantly office-based role you will work alongside a successful, dynamic digital team on a variety of campaigns targeting multiple customer demographics.


Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement a bestinclass strategy for SEO & PPC to meet business growth objectives.
  • Complete indepth SEO audits, both on and off page to identify areas in need of improvement and optimisation.
  • Ability to put together comprehensive action plans for improving the rankings of our websites across the UK & Europe.
  • Work with the marketing team to build highconverting landing pages using best practices and applied experience of performance enhancing approaches to content and UX.
  • Perform keyword research and competitor analysis across UK & Europe in multiple languages.
  • Use technical SEO Tools to maintain and monitor sites.
  • Manage and optimize the existing PPC marketing campaign components including keyword strategy, ad copy, bid prices, cost per conversion, cost per click, etc.
  • Perform daily account management of pay per click accounts on Google AdWords, Shopping, Bing and other search platforms.
  • Build appropriate and accurate reporting dashboards to monitor the organic and paid search KPIs. Provide detailed recommendations for continual improvements.
  • Review and deploy improved Google Analytics tracking configuration, analysis and reporting.
  • Keep pace with the everevolving SEO/PPC algorithms and industry trends.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 3 years' experience of successful SEO management, ideally in an ecommerce.
  • Experience in using a text editor to change or add to HTML and CSS code within files to improve the website output. You will work alongside the development teams to implement these changes and push for approval and deployment.
  • Great knowledge and experience of search engine optimisation best practices and organic ranking algorithms.
  • A strong understanding and experience of Google Search Console, AdWords Editor and Google Analytics.
  • High level of organisational, time management and analytics skills.
  • An outstanding ability to think creatively, strategically, and identify and resolve problems.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work both within a team and independently.

Desirable skills

  • Experience with the use of SEO management tools including Screaming Frog, SEMRush or Moz
  • Google Analytics certifications and experience of using Google Tag Manager.
  • A basic understanding of programming languages, such as PHP so that data can be passed into HTML files.
  • Copywriting or blogging experience.
