Job Description: We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Sales Executive to join our client's team. In this role, you will be responsible for hunting new business opportunities and developing existing accounts within the public sector. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of success in sales, significant experience in data governance, and a deep understanding of the technology landscape as it applies to public sector needs.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the public sector to expand our client's client base.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing public sector accounts to ensure ongoing satisfaction and growth.
  • Conduct market research to stay updated on industry trends, particularly in data governance and public sector requirements.
  • Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations to prospective public sector clients.
  • Negotiate and close sales deals to meet and exceed revenue targets.
  • Collaborate with the marketing and product teams to align sales strategies with business objectives and public sector compliance standards.
  • Maintain accurate records of sales activities and client interactions in the CRM system.
  • Provide regular reports on sales performance and market feedback to senior management.


Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 5-7 years of experience in a sales role, preferably in the technology sector with a focus on the public sector.
  • Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets.
  • Strong understanding of technology solutions, data governance, and their applications in the public sector.
  • Experience with Informatica and cloud vendors like AWS or Azure is highly valued.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Willingness to travel as needed.
