Sales Director - Exhibition/Events

The Sales Event Director will work closely with the executive team to implement a sustainable and long-term strategy for the event. The Sales Event Director is responsible for collaborating with the event team to plan, deliver and evaluate events in line with strategic plans, brand guidelines and within budget. Also he/she will develop innovative ideas for event features and content to attract and enhance visitor/exhibitor experience.

Key Responsibilities:-

  • Create and maintain customer accounts by effective pipeline management.
  • Identify/qualify new business opportunities then proactively develop relationships.
  • Work with the marketing team to create innovative and effective lead generation campaigns.
  • Proactively follow up inbound leads through consultative selling and pass on leads to other Business Development staff to grow and develop accounts.
  • Create and manage key account relationships to develop business opportunities.
  • Cost client proposals and programme budgets in order to develop key accounts.
  • Develop/execute strategy to achieve (and exceed) targeted revenue, exhibitor numbers.
  • Lead and manage the sales team through monitoring sales activities and performance.

Job Requirements :-

  • Minimum Educational qualification - Bachelor's Degree in any field.
  • Strong track record of business development and key account management
  • Extensive people management skills and experience.
  • Experience with working in a pressured working environment.
  • Strong written and verbal communications skills and proficient in the use of MS Office (Word and Excel).
