Lancashire, United Kingdom Burton Recruitment Limited Full time

We’re looking for an experienced, Chartered Employee Benefits Specialist to build and lead a new division within an established, innovative financial planning firm. If you’re ready to take ownership, shape processes, and drive growth, this is the opportunity to make your mark.

The Role You will take over a solid foundation of existing clients while leading the firm’s employee benefits offering, with a strong focus on group pensions alongside key benefits such as private medical insurance. This is a blank slate: you’ll design the framework, implement processes, and lay the groundwork for future growth. With the firm’s full support, you’ll have the scope to recruit and develop your own team as demand increases.

What You’ll Bring

  • Chartered status (or equivalent)
  • A proven track record in delivering group pensions and employee benefits solutions
  • Experience in process design, strategy, and client delivery
  • Ideally, an existing book of business or network of client relationships
  • The ambition and leadership skills to take a department from concept to success

In Return:

  • The autonomy to build something meaningful, with healthy introductions and support from day one
  • A respected, growing financial planning firm with year-on-year success
  • A forward-thinking culture with a focus on work-life balance, flexibility, and innovation
  • Significant opportunities for career progression as the division grows

The Opportunity This is more than a job: it’s the chance to take ownership, drive strategic direction, and build a team within a business that values its people and embraces new ideas. You’ll have the freedom to grow at your own pace while backed by a firm that’s invested in your success.
