The Role

We are seeking a dynamic and driven Commercial Manager to help drive the commercial expansion of our disruptive and fast-growing business. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a high-growth start-up environment and make a real impact working in a broad and hands-on Commercial role. As the Commercial Manager, you will play a pivotal role in driving revenue growth, managing key accounts, and supporting our go-to-market activities.

What you will be doing:


  • Account Management; grow revenue within existing accounts by identifying new sales opportunities. Conduct regular business reviews with clients to assess performance, address concerns, and identify growth opportunities.
  • Account Retention & Expansion; you will take a proactive approach to client management, leveraging insights for upselling and expansion in this revenue generating role
  • Commercial Performance; Data Analysis to understand the levers of performance at a business and account level to drive revenue growth. Analyse commercial metrics and identify trends, patterns, and insights to inform strategic decision-making and optimise commercial strategies.
  • Business Development; Identify and pursue new business development opportunities through market analysis and generating insights for business. Collaborate with the sales team to develop and implement effective strategies to acquire new customers and expand market reach.
  • Commercial Projects: You will support the CCO to lead on key commercial projects; supporting topics such as Pricing, Revenue Operations & CRM Optimisation.
  • Customer-first mindset: Work closely with Customer Success team to understand customers' evolving needs and identify opportunities for upselling or cross-selling additional products/services


We’re looking for someone who:

The ideal person for this role will be comfortable working in an incredibly fast-paced environment. You are likely to have:

  • Experience in a client-facing environment such as Management Consultancy and Account Management or Business Development is a must.
  • Strong experience in a revenue-generating role making a tangible impact on business performance
  • Managed external stakeholders, growing key accounts and partnerships
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets and derive actionable insights.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritise effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • A strategic thinker with a proactive approach to problem-solving and decision-making.
  • A problem solver; when the first approach doesn’t work, you are resilient in finding other ways of making things happen
  • You’re a self-starter who is able to spot opportunities and take these through from ideation to delivery
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
