Role summary:


This role is responsible to act as a first point of contact for provide comprehensive generalist advice and guidance in the allocated divisions, with a strong emphasis on employee relations and operational excellence to support the delivery of key Business and HR deliverables. This role will manage, motivate and develop the People Services Coordinators to ensure the delivery excellence and consistency in people management and operations with the support of the HR Business Partners in line with agreed SLAs, contributing to our overall aims of:


  • Developing an inclusive, collaborative and customer-centric culture with inclusive leaders and motivated, high performing teams
  • Building a People Team recognized as a customer centric, strategic partner supporting growth though our championing and leading the development of a great, personalized colleague experience built on fit for purpose people processes


Skills/Responsibilities:


  • Act as first line advisor to managers and colleagues on a wide range of operational people issues
  • Case management including providing advice, guidance, and support on performance management, disciplinary, absence, capability, and grievance issues, escalating more complex matters through to the Senior HR Business Partner and working closely with the Junior HRBPs;
  • Proactively use MI Reports to identify trends and patterns, highlighting any issues to Senior HR BP
  • Responsible for absence management, carrying out monthly review of absence data and providing proactive advice to managers in connection with attendance and performance issues
  • Responsible for service delivery across the colleague life cycle based on agreed Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
  • Manage, motivate and develop the People Services Coordinators to deliver a robust and efficient customer focused service across a broad range of HR transactions
  • Review and streamline processes, use of data and technology and internal relationship management
