Role Overview:

We are in search of a skilled and experienced Human Resources Business Partner to join our vibrant team at the Ocado Logistics Head Office. In this role, you will be instrumental in advancing people initiatives, enhancing employee engagement, and contributing to the overall success of the Ocado Logistics network. Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate closely with key stakeholders within defined logistics functions, delivering a comprehensive HR generalist service.
  • Drive HR solutions, including engagement strategies, performance management, learning and development interventions, and talent management.
  • Partner with line managers on immediate and long-term objectives, employment legislation, and employee data trends.
  • Utilize leadership and development expertise to work alongside management, ensuring a continuous focus on employee experience and contributions.
  • Provide data-driven insights and trend analysis to influence leadership decisions and enhance performance, attendance, retention, and overall employee satisfaction.
  • Work with Centres of Excellence to design and implement HR strategies and initiatives that support the success of the Ocado Logistics network.
  • Lead and engage in projects and working groups to ensure that HR products meet the needs of end users.
  • Embrace change positively and promote a culture of innovation within your area of responsibility.
  • Offer performance management expertise, interpreting and advising on relevant employment legislation.
  • Act as a subject matter expert in Employee Relations, assisting management in disciplinary, grievance, and attendance management processes.
  • Generate reports for payroll adjustments and manage absence tracking.

About You:

  • Extensive HR generalist experience, including employee relations, recruitment, learning and development, and engagement.
  • Strong communication skills across all employee levels, including upward communication.
  • Proven leadership, relationship management, and people management abilities.
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to translate operational goals into effective HR capabilities.
  • Confident decision-maker with the capacity to work independently.
  • Excellent organizational and delegation skills.
  • Proven ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and optimize resource use.
  • Effective networking, mediation, and negotiation skills.
  • Experience in conflict resolution.
  • Strong presentation skills.
  • Proficient in Google Suite and HR databases (e.g., Workday).
  • Flexible approach to working hours to support a 24/7 business environment.
  • CIPD qualified.
