Role summary:


With the support of the People Services Team Leader, promote the highest level of customer service and colleague experience and deliver an operationally excellent HR service, developing appropriate KPIs and Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and ensuring that these and high-quality service delivery standards are met and maintained.


Collaborate fully with other areas of expertise within the People Team (Talent Acquisitions, Learning and Development, Rewards, Analytics and Benefits, Colleague Communications) to deliver excellence and consistency in people management and development, and contribute to our overall aims of:

  • Developing an an inclusive, collaborative and customer-centric culture with inclusive leaders capable of inspiring and leading change and motivating high performing team

Skills/Responsibilities:


  • Manage, motivate, and develop the Junior HR Business Partners to ensure the provision of a best in class, customer centric, and professional HR Business Partnering Service.
  • Along with the Junior HR Business Partners, work alongside line managers and management teams to determine the people implications of their business plans and translate them into local people strategies and implementation plans.
  • Help to create high levels of engagement within teams, promoting our overall approach to people development, engagement, and wellbeing.
  • Coach and support line managers on organisational design, team effectiveness and performance management, talent development and larger scale change management programmes.
  • Manage, motivate, and develop the People Services Team Leader and the People Services Coordinators to deliver a robust and efficient customer focused service across a broad range of HR transactions, including recruitment, contracts of employments, absence management, wellbeing initiatives and interventions, optimum system and process set up, management reporting and HR KPIs.
  • In conjunction with the Talent Acquisition Team, Junior HR Business Partner(s) and L&D, ensure that on-boarding processes are best in class and are completed consistently.
  • Help to build capability and resilience of HR systems, procedures, and processes, ensuring all processes are mapped, robust and fit for purpose.
