We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Junior IT Project Manager to support the project managers with the lifecycle of IT and Business projects, creating and aligning plans with project stakeholders and managing activities across multiple work streams. Engaging with project delivery teams in collaboration with business stakeholders, gaining skills and experience in navigating through the stages of project management governance in alignment with strategic methodology such as Agile and DevOps.

The role of the Junior IT Project Manager is to support the activities across project governance; leading IT project work streams and driving the delivery of project tasks. The role will give the opportunity to build skills and experience in managing project delivery across multiple business lines including both Global and local solutions, engaging with stakeholders across local and global teams. This role is based in the Redhill office covering Redhill and Athlone sites and attracts a base salary up to 35k depending on experience.

Key Responsibilities

Support the creation of documentation in line with the global project governance process
Support the management of project lifecycle across IT teams and in collaboration with business stakeholders
Identifying project risks and escalate issues to relevant stakeholders
Assist in setting the standards and methodology to be used in project management, to foster excellence in Project delivery.
Ensure that all Project Management activities are in line with Group Security policies and promote Group security standards to Local Project Stakeholders, be proactive in the remediation of all vulnerabilities or issues
Support IT service communication channels, sharing information with key stakeholders within local and global governance
Support the transition from project to business as usual activities

Your Profile

Familiar with IT tools MS Project, Excel, Powerpoint
Good communication, listening and presentation skills.
Understanding and capability to analyse business needs
Experience of utilising IT solutions
Capacity to adapt quickly to changes and learn in all circumstances
Must be a team player and able to work collaboratively with others and leverage their skills
