A leading, highly reputable Main Contractor that undertakes a range of projects within multiple sectors has an excellent opportunity for a Contracts Manager to join them on a permanent basis, overseeing a range of new build and refurbishment projects within the education sector up to £5m in value.

As a business, they carry out a range of work including new build, internal and external refurbishments, fit-out and alteration projects, between £100,000 and £10m in value, with a range of public and private clients.

They have recently been awarded a number of projects as part of a 4-year framework agreement within the education sector, carrying out a range of new build and refurbishment projects to schools and academies in the Southern Counties, up to £5m in value.

They are looking for a Contracts Manager to join them on a permanent basis, based from their offices, overseeing projects across the Southern Home Counties (Hampshire, Surrey, and West Sussex).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage a portfolio of education projects from inception to completion
  • Deliver new build and refurbishment projects up to £5m in value
  • Oversee multiple projects concurrently, ensuring timely completion and within budget
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients and stakeholders
  • Lead and manage a team of project managers and coordinators

Requirements:

  • Proven track record working on education projects for a reputable main contractor
  • Experience delivering new build and refurbishment projects up to £5m in value
  • Understanding of the 2-stage D&B procurement route
  • Excellent project management and leadership skills
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
