Job Title: Senior Rail Project Manager

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Senior Rail Project Manager to join our team at Waterman Group. As a key member of our rail sector, you will be responsible for leading high-profile rail projects, managing budgets, and ensuring timely delivery. Your expertise in project management, risk assessment, and stakeholder engagement will be essential in driving our business forward.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage rail projects from planning to delivery, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
  • Develop and implement project management plans, including risk assessments, resource allocation, and budgeting.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, design, and construction, to ensure seamless project delivery.
  • Manage and mitigate project risks, ensuring the successful delivery of projects.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and internal teams to ensure effective communication and project success.
  • Contribute to the development of business strategies and proposals, leveraging your expertise in rail project management.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in rail project management, with a strong track record of delivering complex projects on time and within budget.
  • Excellent project management skills, including risk assessment, budgeting, and resource allocation.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to build and maintain effective relationships.
  • Chartered status or equivalent in a relevant discipline (e.g., C.Eng, MIStructE).
  • Full UK driving license.
