The role:

This is an exciting and dynamic role, focused on owning the successful integration of Elliott Wood’s Digital Asset Management (DAM) system – Open Asset. The main goal of integrating Open Asset as our DAM system is to have an innovative and efficient centralised database for images and system for creating proposals & presentations.

Open Asset is a Digital Asset Management (DAM) system specifically designed to create outstanding architecture, engineering and construction proposals with higher win rates.

The project on which you will work, will mainly involve facilitating the integration of our Digital Asset Management (DAM) system ‘Open Asset’ with our Project Management and Customer Relations Management (CRM) system ‘CMap’. You will manage, enrich and quality assure Digital Assets across the business, develop and host user training sessions, share industry best practices and ensure the implementation of new established processes across our teams.

During the project you will have the opportunity to work closely our Business Development, Marketing and Communications teams - also liaising with all Service, Specialisms, Structural and Operational teams gathering information and feedback to fulfil the project.


Your responsibilities will include:

  • Working with teams to evolve and enhance existing programmes
  • Working with teams to research existing and historic projects & consult with leadership as required
  • Drive development of the DAM system to assist teams to meet client expectations
  • Work closely with key stakeholders to maximize new platform adoption
  • Host single or group training sessions with key team members & users as required
  • Conduct data review, cleansing, enrichment and validation
  • Identify & resolve errors in metadata
  • Set up team meetings, identifying and addressing possible queries raised or escalating when appropriate, ensuring execution of new and established processes across teams
  • All relevant administration associated with ensuring the success of the DAM system


About you:

  • Openness: you will be confident adapting to the different teams to gain information needed to deliver the project effectively.
  • Ownership: you will approach this project with a sense of urgency and responsibility.
  • Time Management: you should be confident reviewing and agreeing key milestones for the project delivery and any deviations from the timeline should be flagged in a timely manner to ensure all team members are aware of the progress.
  • Problem solving: you will take a flexible, hands-on approach and enjoy problem solving and improving processes.
  • Attention to detail: you will have a keen eye for detail and approach everything with the highest standards.
  • Industry interest: you will ideally have an interest in the built environment and the sectors Elliott Wood works across.


Required skills:

  • Strong IT literacy, confident with Microsoft and quick to learn/adapt to new software
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Experience with project deadlines (career or education)
  • Experience working with teams (career or education)


Desirable skills:

  • Experience with the DAM system Open Asset
  • Experience with Digital Asset Management (DAM) and/or experience with Customer relations management (CRM) systems
  • Industry experience in media, digital asset management, digital library, librarian sciences or archives
  • University / College degree
