The company
With a dedicated events space for large scale corporate events and big name brands choosing this venue for conferences, exhibitions, awards shows and hospitality events this is an unmissable chance to join this brilliant venue. Due to continuous growth and exciting future strategy we are now supporting with the hire of a Business Development Manager to join their sales team
The role
This is a focused role where you will be growing new and repeat business for the organisation across the MICE agency as well as corporate sectors. This is a proactive role where you will be showcasing the venue, how the space can be used in new and exciting ways and securing profitable bookings against an annual target. There will be pitching as part of this role and managing key relationships with events and production agencies looking to use the space. Networking and attending industry awards /events are also key.
About you
This is a role that requires passion for the industry, a strategic approach and a background in meetings & events sales in either a venue or agency. We are looking for a proven track record in identifying prospects, unearthing leads, building relationships and winning business. You will love presenting and have an excellent communication style with stakeholders at all levels. Driving license and car are required.
