Role Overview
This role is focused on driving revenue growth across Europe by expanding the merchant base. The Senior Business Development Manager will identify new opportunities, build a pipeline of potential clients, own the sales cycle, and negotiate deals that drive revenue. The Senior Business Development Manager will report to the VP and work closely with internal teams such as Account Development, Product, Marketing, and Integrations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the full sales cycle, from prospecting to presenting services and finalizing contracts.
- Develop and maintain a strong pipeline of relevant opportunities in European markets.
- Coordinate with the Integration team to ensure seamless implementation of services and successful go-live for our customers.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external partners (PSPs and PAM platforms) to circulate the company's value proposition and drive sales activity.
- Engage in and support key industry marketing initiatives, such as conferences, events, and meetups.
- Responsible for positioning the business as a market leader and thought leader, while creating new opportunities for sales and revenue growth.
Ideal Candidate:
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in complex B2B sales or business development, preferably in the payments or FinTech industry.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with experience engaging at CXO-level.
- Proactive, self-starter who is prepared to dive in and take initiative.
- A strong sense of ownership and commitment to driving opportunities to completion is essential.
- Fluent in English, with proficiency in another European language being a plus.
