The Company: Established in the early 1990's, our client is software and professional services business that provides health, safety, and risk management solutions to a wide range of sectors. Their software is designed to help organisations comply with regulations, mitigate risks, and create safer workplaces. Another part of the organisation offers a range of services including risk assessments, fire safety, health and safety audits, and training programs which means this newly created role will have a big focus on selling the software alongside various services. The company is going through an ambitious growth phase and this role sits in a newly created team so it is an extremely exciting company to join that sell solutions that are in high-demand and are a complete necessity to their customers.

The Role: As Senior Business Development Manager, you will be joining a growing team with plans to grow by 5 in 2025. This is an exciting opportunity to join as you will be responsible for working with a wide range of organisations that sit within mid-market to enterprise across the UK. This is a hybrid role where deals are closed virtually and face to face so there is an expectation that the Senior Business Development Manager will travel as and when required. The Senior Business Development Manager will be expected to generate their own leads but there will be support with inbound leads via a newly creating marketing function. The Senior Business Development Manager will be predominantly selling risk, compliance and safety management software solutions where the sales cycle length is typically 3 - 4 months.

Responsibilities:

· Lead the strategic sales process, managing tenders and bids.

· Face to Face meetings when required and an expectation to travel to the office once or twice a month in Greater London but the rest of the time you will be working from home.

· Manage the complete sales cycle from prospecting and qualifying leads to negotiating contracts which are typically 3-years in length

· You will be liaising with multiple stakeholders, ideally at C-Suite level within various sectors including Property & Real Estate, Retail, Logistics, Hospitality sectors.

· This is a 100% new business role and once onboarded, the accounts will be passed onto Customer Success.

Requirements:

· Minimum of 5 years' experience in a B2B sales role, managing full cycle.

· Candidates that have sold software, professional services or consulting services will be a fit for this role

· Experience selling via Tenders is ideal but not essential

· Client Engagement Face to Face is essential
