Channel Marketing Manager - SMB Cybersecurity
Our client is a global leader in information management. Their SMB Cybersecurity division provides comprehensive security solutions for global companies and partners. In addition, they are a Microsoft Cloud Solution Provider that offers Microsoft products for resale through the Microsoft Cloud Partner Program (MCPP). They market to and through indirect (channel) partners in the small-to-medium business space.
The Role
- As a Channel Marketing Manager, you will play a leading role in developing, managing, and executing Microsoft marketing programs, events and campaigns across our partner ecosystem.
- You will work closely with the EMEA sales team, product marketing including Microsoft specialists, creative, digital and web teams.
- You will be results-driven, focused on generating a healthy pipeline of qualified Microsoft opportunities, aligning with revenue goals and fostering growth within the partner community.
Responsibilities
- Activate and execute an integrated Microsoft marketing plan.
- Plan and execute channel events, including industry conferences, regional partner roadshows, peer groups and Microsoft bootcamps. Travel will be required to some events.
- Build and execute virtual events, including webinars, partner updates and training.
- Manage joint marketing activities with select partners.
- Create and execute digital campaigns.
- Develop references and case studies with partners.
- Create and coordinate content for email communications and newsletters.
- Manage and keep up to date the Microsoft content in the Partner Portal.
- Manage claims in the Microsoft Partner Center for all eligible marketing activities.
- Regular meetings with sales to provide updates of the plan, activities and results.
- Deliver and report on KPIs.
What you need to succeed
- Experienced motivated marketing professional with can-do attitude.
- Minimum of five years of technology experience in channel or field marketing.
- Understanding of the Microsoft Partner Network and program preferred.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Desire and aptitude to be a team player.
- Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage multiple objectives.
- Travel as required; approximately 25%.
- Project and time management skills - ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Experience and aptitude with common technology platforms (Salesforce, Marketo, Office 365, Wrike etc.)
- BA/BS degree or equivalent business experience preferred.
This is a 6 month contract role, hybrid working with 1 day per week required in a Reading office. Please apply online to be considered.
