The Role


We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Regional Sales Manager to drive sales across Scotland and Ireland. This role offers a unique opportunity to be part of a well-respected and established industry player, contributing to the continued growth and success in the region.


The Responsibilities


  • Create and implement a comprehensive sales strategy to expand market presence and drive revenue growth in Scotland and Ireland, with a key focus on the food industry.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key end-user customers, primarily in the food sector, to understand their needs and offer tailored technology solutions.
  • Work closely with internal departments, including product development, marketing, and customer support, to deliver integrated solutions that meet customer needs and exceed expectations.
  • Meet or exceed sales targets by identifying new business opportunities, closing deals, and ensuring customer satisfaction.
  • Stay informed about market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments, particularly within the FMCG (Fast-Moving Consumer Goods) sector, to identify opportunities for growth.
  • Provide accurate sales forecasts and report to senior management, ensuring transparency and alignment with overall business goals.


The Candidate


  • Proven track record in sales, particularly in selling capital equipment to industrial customers, with a preference for experience within the FMCG sector.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and negotiate effectively with customers and internal teams.
  • Persistent, tenacious, and confident in pursuing sales leads and closing deals in a competitive environment.
  • Strong competitive spirit with a focus on achieving and exceeding sales goals.
  • Willingness to travel extensively across Scotland and Ireland to meet with customers and participate in industry events.
