Internal Sales Coordinator - Essex (Freight Forwarding)

A Sales Support Specialist is needed to help the sales team with client management, quotations and administrative duties at a top goods forwarding and logistics company in Essex. Someone with experience in supply chain management, goods forwarding, or logistics who is very proactive and well-organised would be perfect for this position. This is your chance if you appreciate giving exceptional customer service and perform well in a fast-paced setting

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Prepare pricing proposals, quotes, and customer presentations to assist the sales staff.
  • Respond to consumer questions by giving precise details on logistics and freight forwarding services.
  • Keep client information, sales activity, and pipeline changes up to date in the CRM system.
  • To guarantee that shipments are handled smoothly, coordinate with the operations and customer support teams.
  • Help with following up on pending shipments or customer requests, as well as completing sales orders.
  • Keep an eye on rival activity and market developments to give the sales team insights.
  • Create and evaluate sales reports to monitor performance and spot expansion prospects.
  • Help with the administration of customer paperwork, service agreements, and contracts.
  • Work together with internal divisions to increase productivity and streamline sales procedures.
  • Plan and assist with networking opportunities, events, and sales meetings.
  • Verify adherence to industry rules and corporate policy.

What We're Looking For:

  • Prior sales support expertise in the goods forwarding or logistics sector.
  • Excellent attention to detail, strong multitasking and organising abilities.
  • competence with Microsoft Office, CRM applications, and systems pertaining to logistics.
  • Outstanding interpersonal and communication abilities to interact with internal teams and clients.
  • A proactive, problem-solving style that can function well under duress.
  • It is quite desirable to have knowledge of supply chain services, goods forwarding, or transportation.
