Who are we:
Opening its doors in September 2024, Amélie is an exquisite French restaurant within Belgravia’s historic Pantechnicon building on Motcomb Street. A luxury dining destination set across two floors as well as an outdoor terrace, its menu will focus on Provençal cuisine alongside further Mediterranean influences. Amélie will bring the French spirit of art de vivre to London and will be one of Sunset Hospitality Group’s first UK openings.
About the role:
We are looking for an Assistant General Manager to work alongside our General Manager overseeing daily operations, managing staff and maintaining high-quality standards to achieve our target of becoming London’s favourite destination restaurant. The Assistant General Manager will work with some of the best leaders in hospitality to become the future General Manager in one of our prestigious venues

Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the General Manager the day-to-day operations of the restaurant, ensuring that it runs smoothly and efficiently.
- Lead and inspire our FOH team through coaching and training, to improve performance and achieve the kitchen objectives and targets alongside the General Manager.
- Maintain a focus on providing excellent customer service to enhance the dining experience at all times.
- Address customer concerns and ensure their satisfaction with the service and food.
- Assist in managing the restaurant's budget, expenses, and financial goals.
- Ensure the team are complying with Company Food Safety Policies, procedures, health & safety requirements at all times.
- Ensure that food quality and presentation meet established standards.
- Motivate and develop team members, in order to encourage their professional development.
- Implement training programs for staff to enhance their skills and improve overall performance.
- Always client facing to develop relationships with regular guests.
Essential Skills & Requirements:
- Previous experience in similar role and within fast paced environment experience in Michelin starred or premium restaurant.
- A passion for delivering memorable experiences for guests.
- Strong attention to detail and a dedication to your career is essential.
- Strong leadership and people management skills.
- Ability to motivate and inspire a diverse team.
- Excellent knowledge of Food Safety, HACCP, Sanitation, and Personal Hygiene basics.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication and management skills.
- Knowledge of restaurant financial management.
