As an innovative, award-winning provider, with a *CQC outstanding rating* we are experiencing significant and exciting growth. *Our centres operate 24 hours every day of the year, so full time, part time and flexible shift options are all available. *To help us operate a 24/7 service, we are particularly interested to hear from candidates who have availability in the *evenings and weekends to cover our core hours,* you will need to invest a *minimum of 16 hours. * *Please note:* If you require hours of more than 24 hours per week, including full-time roles (37.5 hours), we may be able to accommodate you, if you are happy to work longer weekend hours (this may mean working every weekend and taking days off during the week). What you will get:
* An hourly rate of *£11.48* (during training and daytime shifts); *£14.27 *(contractual night rate) and *£14.77* (red zone weekend rate - subject to T&C's).

To become a licensed operator, you will receive *NHS Pathway training *(a highly advanced telephone triage tool), used for assessing, triaging and directing the public to urgent and emergency care services.

We are offering both *full time and part time *classroom-based courses, which runs:
* full time Monday to Friday 5.00pm-9.30pm for *4 weeks, *
* part time *Sat & Sun (9.00am-5.00pm) including Tues, Weds, Thurs (5.00pm-9.30pm) for 6 weeks*

*Our next available dates are:*
* *Monday 8th July 2024 - full time*
* *Saturday 27th July 2024 - part time*
* *Monday 5th August 2024 - full time*

*What you'll be doing*

As a member of the Integrated Urgent Care team (IUC), you will be first point of contact for members of the public with a 24 hour urgent but non-emergency health concern, you will be providing advice and signposting assistance to onward care utilising the NHS Pathways triage system,

Following assessment, our health advisors can: *If they are well, advice and support on accessing local services such as general practice, dentists, pharmacies and other healthcare services,* If they have a query about their medication, immediate support from a pharmacist, or *If they are unwell or calling on behalf of a child or someone they care for who is unwell, over the-phone assessment, identification of the most appropriate care for the issue and, as appropriate, advice for managing the condition at home.* Transfer calls to our clinical assessment service which is on hand 24/7 to provide expert advice, assessment and support, preventing the need for patients to make further calls.

The training has three components:

1. Foundation training (four weeks broken down into two core modules\*).

2. Audit, coaching and probation period (minimum of six weeks) followed by a one day sign off course.

3. On-going audit, development and update training.

\*Core module 1 is an intensive program that requires regular evaluation, to ensure you are progressing seamlessly.

\*Core module 2 consists of a case study and some practical scenarios.

You will need to achieve a score of at least 70% in order to pass.

Must be eligible to work in the UK and over 18 years of age
