The unit is a 15 bedded, Vascular ward based at Royal Preston Hospital which is open to both elective and urgent pathway for the vascular patient. We are supported by consultants, specialist vascular therapy team and vascular specialist nurse, we also have an advanced clinical practitioner.
We work well together and would love to welcome you into our team
Main duties of the job
You must have a proven ability in supervising, managing and controlling the activities of a ward in an effective and efficient manner.
You will be a clinical role model and have a willingness to develop the team as well as your own professional growth.
You will have excellent communication skills and high clinical standards with a passion to make a difference for patients and staff alike.
You must have ward based experience.

Support the Senior Sister/Charge Nurse orMatron in ensuring the provision of excellentcare with compassion for the patients, relativesand visitors who are cared for within or by theward, department, service or team.
