The successful Temporary HR Advisor will have the ability to plan and prioritise their own workload to meet the needs of the business units, as well as the HR team requirements. The candidate should be flexible and organized with the ability to communicate at all levels. 

Key responsibilities will be to:

Lead the end to end recruitment, selection and on boarding process for blue collar and certain white collar positions. Provide HR advice and support to the business/employees on matters such as Maternity/Paternity, retirement, absence management, disciplinary, and other HR topics. Coordinate and organise training in order to meet business requirements, as well as conduct internal training/workshops as required. Coordinate and organise Occupational Health referrals. Work closely with the HR Administrator to ensure that all correspondence and documentation is issued in a timely manner, as well as ensuring accurate maintenance of data within HR systems. Maintain up to date knowledge of employment legislation Lead and support (depending on project size) in the implementation of local initiatives and adhoc projects

Your Profile:

You will need to be driven and self-motivated, with strong organisational skills, to operate in a reactive environment. You will need to be approachable and open to change, with strong communication skills, and the ability to work to processes, and where possible make improvements to them. The successful candidate should also be trustworthy and able to work with discretion for confidential matters.

Key Attributes:

Relevant degree or HR qualification e.g. CIPD Minimum 3 years’ experience in a generalist HR role. HR experience within a manufacturing environment would be advantageous. Previous experience of working within a unionised environment Demonstrate experience in delivering projects in a timely manner Good understanding of employment law Strong IT skills, in Microsoft programmes. Experience of working with an HR/Payroll system and/or T&A system would be advantageous
