Welfare Officer

Pertemps Stoke are currently recruiting for a Welfare and Maintenance Officer for our client based in Haughton, Stafford.

For this Welfare and Maintenance Officer role, you will be responsible for:
  • Translate all forms of communication - verbal and written into Russian language.
  • Assisting in HR duties such as recruiting, selecting, scheduling, counselling, disciplining, and training staff.
  • Health and safety measures are adhered to in daily operations.
  • Organisation of repair and routine management of accommodation e.g. plumbing, electrics.
  • Completion of compliance checks of accommodation provided.
  • Providing management with up-to-date feedback with HR and accommodation issues.
  • Assist in control of maintenance costs of caravan sites.


For this Welfare and Maintenance Officer role, you will need:
  • Good communication qualities.
  • Ability to have a no-nonsense attitude but fair approach to daily duties.
  • Excellent level of integrity on data provided with verbal and written skills.
  • Strong organisation skills and ability to multi tasks
  • Time management of your own and others.
  • Positive approach to tasks given.
  • Ability to plan and to accomplish all goals in line to managements requirements.
  • Computer literate
  • Attention to detail.
  • Negotiation skills with positive attitude
  • Russian language (Intermediate)
  • Experience in a customer facing industry and general building maintenance.
  • Strong with Microsoft Office/Excel
  • First Aid
  • Mental Health First Aid.

You will be a team player with good communication skills who assists with ensuring the employee residents of the farm accommodation is well maintained by engaging with the resident work force on the grounds of health, accommodation factoring in at all times managements' requirements, costs incurred.

Working days/Hours: 0830am-1730pm Monday-Friday
Location: Haughton, Stafford
Salary: £12PH
Duration: Temp to Perm
