The role will include:

  • Completion of Phase I contaminated land, mining /geology and ground engineering desk studies;
  • Act as a Site Engineer or supporting role, supervising multiple ground investigation / ground remediation / CQA activities on either short or long duration projects with potential working away from home;
  • Supervision of site works including logging of soils and rock (in accordance with current UK standards);
  • Specify and supervise in-situ testing and sampling in accordance with UK specifications and current technical standards;
  • Liaise with clients, engineers, contractors and sub-contractors throughout the site work phase;
  • Assist in the preparation of contract documentation and administration of contracts (including financial control); and
  • Geo-environmental data assessment and analysis.

About you:

We are looking for a Graduate or someone with a couple of years experience and with an ability to work alone and as part of a team. Communicative, organised, flexible and committed, you must also have:

BSc in Geology, Engineering Geology, Environmental Geology or science, MSc or industry experience is advantageous;

A full and clean UK driving license;

Written report writing skills, and computer software skills.
