We have an exciting opportunity for a Bank Healthcare Assistant to join our Primary Care team at HMP Lewes, a category B  Prison located in Lewes.

Hours

The site currently offers shifts from 7am to 5pm, Monday to Saturday.

Main duties of the job

As a Healthcare Assistant, your responsibilities will vary. You will

be involved in the implementation of clinical care packages, phlebotomy and assessment, treatment and the evaluation of patients care.  support and assist patients with the activities of daily living, work with the Pharmacy Team to help them fulfil their daily tasks will be encouraged to take the lead on well-being promotion clinic

Qualifications required 

NVQ level 2/3 or equivalent in Health and Social Care A non-judgmental and compassionate approach Excellent communication skills Good IT skills and IT literacy Ability to work within a busy environment Ability to work unsupervised whilst following policy and procedures
