We have an exciting opportunity for a Bank Healthcare Assistant to join our Primary Care team at HMP Lewes, a **category B** Prison located in **Lewes.**
**Hours**
The site currently offers shifts from 7am to 5pm, Monday to Saturday.

**What you'll be doing**:
As a Healthcare Assistant, your responsibilities will vary. You will
- be involved in the implementation of clinical care packages, phlebotomy and assessment, treatment and the evaluation of patients’ care.
- support and assist patients with the activities of daily living, work with the Pharmacy Team to help them fulfil their daily tasks
- will be encouraged to take the lead on well-being promotion clinic

You’ll receive a bank hourly rate of £16.65

Qualifications required
- NVQ level 2/3 or equivalent in Health and Social Care A non-judgmental and compassionate approach
- Excellent communication skills
- Good IT skills and IT literacy
- Ability to work within a busy environment
- Ability to work unsupervised whilst following policy and procedures
