KHR is working with a specialistconsultancy that provides financial advice and services to theirestablished client base across London and the home counties.

At present, they are looking to expand theirteam by adding an experienced Finance Consultant who will managesome key clients across Surrey.

The role ofthe Finance Consultant will be to service the business clientswithin the education sector, so previous experience providingfinancial advice to schools, academies and trusts would beadvantageous.

Being a consultancy role it isessential that you drive and have access to your own vehicle sothat you can reach client sites.

The coredeliverables of the Finance Consultantinclude:

To provide training to finance staffon the relevant finance software (PS Financials)
Toprovide absence cover for Senior Finance Officer / Manager staffwhen required
Preparation of monthly managementaccounts
Provide assistance with client budgets andforecasts,
Assist clients and auditors with thefinancial statements and year-end audit
Advise clientson best practices based on the Academies FinancialHandbook

CandidateProfile:

Accountancy qualification - ACA orACCA Qualified preferred. Will consider PQ or QBE
Experience working in the education or charity sector
Knowledge of PS Financials software would be desirable
Be dedicated to delivering the best possible service toclients
Be professional and presentable
Haveexceptional communication skills with the ability to speak toindividuals of all levels
Hold a full UK driving licenceand have access to your own vehicle
Be able to pass aclean enhanced DBS check (initiated and funded by thebusiness)

The office is based near WestMalling, Kent and will act as the base for ad-hoc meetings whenrequired. On a day-to-day basis, you will be based at your homeaddress and will be required to regularly travel to clients'premises. Mileage will be reimbursed to you at the HMRCrate.
