KHR are working with a specialistconsultancy who provide financial advice and services to theirestablished client base across London and the homecounties.

At present they are looking toexpand their team by adding an experienced Senior FinanceConsultant who will manage some key clients acrossSurrey.

The role of the Senior FinanceConsultant will be to service the business clients within theeducation sector, so previous experience providing financial adviceto schools, academies and trusts would beadvantageous.

Being a consultancy role its isessential that you drive and have access to your own vehicle sothat you can reach client sites.

The coredeliverables of the Senior Finance Consultantinclude:

Training school finance staff on therelevant finance software we use,
Absence cover forFinance Controller / CFO level roles,
Preparation ofmonthly management accounts,
Management of schoolbudgets and forecasts,
Assisting clients and auditorswith the financial statements and year end audit,
Reporting to Senior Management / Trustees
Advisingclients on best practice based on the Academies FinancialHandbook.

CandidateProfile:

Accountancy qualification - ACA orACCA Qualified preferred. Will consider PQ or QBE
Experience working in the education or charity sector
Knowledge of PS Financials software would be desirable
Be dedicated to delivering the best possible service toclients
Be professional and presentable
Haveexceptional communication skills with the ability to speak toindividuals of all levels
Hold a full UK driving licenceand have access to your own vehicle
Be able to pass aclean enhanced DBS check (initiated and funded by thebusiness)

The office is based near WestMalling, Kent and will act as the base for adhoc meetings whenrequired. On a day to day basis you will be based at your homeaddress and will be required to regularly travel to clients'premises. Mileage will be reimbursed to you at the HMRCrate.
