Cheshire East is dedicated to creating positive and measurable outcomes for every child in our care. Extensive support will be offered from the Registered Manager who will have experience of running Children’s Homes, alongside your peers as Seniors in the home and the Responsible Individual.

The role of a Senior will involve supporting the Registered Homes Manager and other Seniors to ensure we meet the Statement of Purpose, with particular emphasis on providing a person-centred therapeutic service, through delivering and improving all operational aspects of the home and developing a skilled and effective team.

This role requires a completer-finisher who has strong, aspirational leadership skills to develop and manage the team, ensuring all paperwork is fully and accurately completed, and that the home itself is well presented and compliant with all regulations.

You will also have a strong focus on values, outcomes for children and excellence supported by the Local Authority who will also take a personal interest in your performance, development and your wellbeing. Your success will be the empowerment of the children, and the achievements of our services.

The skills and ability to work with complex and vulnerable young people whilst being able to lead the home on a daily basis will be paramount. As a Senior you will be able to work on shift and support the development of staff whilst being able to support the Home Manager ensure the Statement of Purpose is fulfilled and the home is operating within its means.
